Project IV

Advanced Topics in Decision Theory

Frank Coolen

Description

The module Decision Theory III provided a general idea of many topics of research related to supporting decision making. This is a very wide field with many great opportunities for Project IV. As examples, one can go deeper into theory of utility (for example Adaptive Utility) or study how people actually make decisions (for example Prospect Theory). One can study specific forms of Game Theory (for example Auctions or Adversarial Risk Analysis) or decision making based on Expert Opinions. This project offers the flexibility to work in any area of Decision Theory you want to know more about!
